The first active ingredient, loperamide, works locally on the digestive system by slowing down the movement of the intestines. This means that there is more time for your body to absorb water and nutrients, which helps to relieve diarrhoea. The second active ingredient, simethicone, works on the gas bubbles by helping release them thus reducing abdominal discomfort and wind associated with diarrhoea.

How do I take Gastro-Stop PLUS?

  • Gastro-Stop PLUS can be used by adults and children aged 12 years and over
  • Gastro-Stop PLUS dosage: Chew 2 tablets initially, followed by 1 tablet after each loose bowel motion as needed
